Although I could not understand the waitress very well because of a heavy accent, the service was good . The food is good and they have a large selection with party platters. The establishment is very clean and large. They also offer complimentary green tea with your sit down visit.

I ordered the ma po tofu on rice and asked the lady at the front desk to make sure that there weren't any animal products in the dish. When I started to eat it I noticed a sweaty beef taste. And whats more, when she gave me my order she asked me if I wanted chop sticks, a fork, or a spoon, and then when I responded with chop sticks she laughed at me. Why not just give your customers the appropriate utensils for their food instead of making them feel stupid? NOT COMING BACK.

Excellent won ton soup, best I've ever had. I don't normally get to-go boxes, but this place gives you an excessive amount of food! Definitely be hungry when you go. It's not cheap Chinese food either, the food is high quality and really good. Strongly reccomend this place!

This has consistently been my go to Chinese takeout location since I've moved to Ewa. Nothing spectacular, but very fast, which is why I go them repeatedly. Not once have I ordered my food and had to wait after I drove there (I live 5 minutes away). The speed and familiarity is why I keep going back. Good spring rolls, good hot and sour soup, in my opinion. Would recommend to anyone in a Chinese food crunch!

When my Grandma was alive Ewa Pointe was one of the places she loved to eat at. We would go there at least 3 times a month. Their food is very tasty. I love their egg fuyoung, and the sauce that they give with it. Another one of my favorites is the Chinese chicken salad. They give a decent amount of serving. Their entrees do not come with rice so you would have to order a side order which is huge. The service here is always excellent. The staff are very friendly and attentive. The place is very clean, and spacious. Catering is also available for parties.

Always good food. Hot tea with your meal is a must. Fast service. Crab wonton are made hot to order.

Good food for the price. The dinner for two feeds a party of 4

Loved this place when I lived in Ewa for several years. When I went back ate there again, my favorite Chinese restaurant on that side, love the crispy gau gee mein and always fresh, tasty and hot when we pick it up.

Yikes!! Had hair in our food, and the waiter grabs it out of the food. He then snaps it and says "this not hair, hair no break.". Pull a hair out of your head and see if it breaks. Food wasn't good either.

Worst food. House special chow mein was bland, seem like they just threw a bunch of leftover meats on top of bland noodles, eggrolls were greasy and mostly cabbage, beef and broccoli nothing special, and wonton soup was pretty much just gaugee in soup. To sum it up---GREASY.....

The food here is very good and pretty consistent. We have been coming here almost weekly for the past year. We love the spicy prawns and the mooshu pork. We have not been disappointed with anything that we have tried. The atmosphere is pretty standard. There is a steady steam of people coming in for take out, so don't take a table in the path of travel. We often walk over to Ewa Pantry and grab a bottle of wine to enjoy with our dinner. The potstickers are top notch. The Peking duck is great. Mongolian beef was also great.

We got takeout: garlic chicken, general tso chicken, fried rice, and wontons. It was your standard Chinese food, nothing frilly. No even steamed rice to accompany the entrees. The wontons were 90% wrapper, 10% filling. The entrees were very simple, fried chicken with sauce or seasoning. The general tso chicken was more like sweet and sour than spicy. The fried rice was good but a little bland. I might try some other dishes in the (distant) future, maybe something not breaded, because we didn't even eat very much and we're both still feeling pretty...well, it sits heavy. An unbreaded meal or just fried rice probably wouldn't.

Just moved to the area and looking for a decent Chinese Restaurant. Looked like my choices were Ewa Pointe and Taste of Hong Kong. We chose Ewa Pointe and I walked in to place a take out order. Here are my ratings: ORDER TIME: 5 stars, (they were faster than most) PORTION SIZE: 5 stars, (they give you a lot of food, so order appropriately) HOUSE SPECIAL CHOW MEIN: 5 stars, (must try, has all meats, poultry, seafood, vegetables- can't go wrong) SHRIMP and WALNUTS: 2 stars, (dry, hardly any sauce) LEMON CHICKEN: 3 stars (this dish might be better for dine in) Next time I plan on trying their house specials. Those seem to be fan favorites.

This plac is glorious. We love it because it's close to home and amazing food at a good price. Most entrees cost about eight dollars and is enough to fill someone up. The entrees do not come with rice, however, a side of rice is huge. I cannot lie, My wife and i once ate here three time in a 24 hour period--- what more do you really need to know. Also they have a huge menu with easily over 100 items, granted many of them Are similiar but it's nice to go to Chinese and not have to pick a numbered meal with only a few choices. They Also do take out and have party trays which would be stellar but I'd probably have a heart attack on site. Try this out!!!

So my credibility towards reviewing chinese restuarants come from the fact that I am, indeed, half chinese. I grew up eating chinese food A LOT so I sorta feel like you should recognize. An on with the review.... So my bf's family sometimes gets take-out from this place for dinner. Although, so far, it has been tasty, it has been super salty and I'm guessing, loaded with MSG. I decided to eat there myself and request my food without the MSG. They were respectful of my request, and coped no attitude at all. So plus on that... I ordered the shrimp with mixed vegetables and cake noodles. I really liked this dish. They did not make it salty, and my plate was loaded with veggies and shrimp. The price was good too, especially for such a generous portion. I will be back to explore their other dishes. So I guess the fact that I am planning to return means they're pretty good for a little hidden place in ewa beach. And good chinese restaurants are truly hard to find....

Good location, nice and clean. Friendly wait staff but heavy accents. Typically go for the takeout but dine in experience is nice and quiet. Not a happening spot. Over several visits in the last few years, overall quality of food is good but not outstanding.

We were very disappointed with the food. The service was good, but the food was not. The deep fried shrimp with pineapple was more like large batter balls with a small shrimp hiding inside. The sweet sauce and pineapple pieces were on the side. We also ordered shrimp fried rice (many of the shrimp had not been de-veined and the black vein was not appetizing), and beef with broccoli. The beef and broccoli's sauce was thick and over-powering; the meat was chewy and not enjoyable. Even the fortune cookie was stale.

Great Chinese food! We came here for Mother's Day and loved it! I think everything was great except for the Roast Duck - I've had better elsewhere. Pork Harmon (sp?) was delicious. Chicken with cake noodles was super tasty Don't know what its called but this flattened out minced pork was excellent. Service was fast and the place was clean. I'd love to come here again

My friend was in the mood for eating Chinese food so I met her at Ewa Pointe Chinese Restaurant in Ewa Beach. Upon entering the restaurant there were no customers at all & I thought it was sorta strange since it was still lunch time. But my friend insist that the food is really good. She was absolutely right about the food. It was very good & tasty. We had the steamed pork hash with duck egg, ginger chicken & some kind of noodles. More improvement on service would make this place better & the workers should wear cleaner aprons. I lose my appetite when I see workers with food all over their apron. I will return to taste some other dishes as my friend mentioned that most of their dishes are very good.

Walked in, seated quickly then served water and tea promptly. The lady who came to take our order was rushing us. She was writing on her pad of paper, before we even said what we wanted. I asked her a question, she said "no no dis one"! So needless to say, instead of us trying something new. We were rushed and just ordered what we get at Panda Express. Bummer, cause we wanted to enjoy something other than what we normally eat! Orange chicken tasted extremely orangey! The beef fried rice really had no taste! The generals chicken said spicy but didn't even have a pepper flavor! The chicken seemed like it was deep fried twice! Some parts tasted like pork rind. Side note, food came out quick and hot. Had lots of leftovers!

  • Wes J.

My experience here is mixed. Everyone one was extremely friendly, all except one. It isn't that she wasn't friendly, it's that she continually questioned what we wanted to order. Almost like, are you sure you want to order two of the same dishes. She also seemed to be in a rush to take our order and spilt. She was nice though, she just made that part a bit odd. Our food came out pretty quick. Chicken fried rice tasted good but was a little on the dry side. Broccoli beef needed more seasoning. Orange chicken had good flavor but the actual chicken was a bit crisp under the batter. Almost like they deep fried the chicken twice, once before the chicken was battered and again after. The pineapple chucks were past there serve date, they had a bit of a bite to them. Meal portions are generous, prices are fair too. Fed a family of 5 for $50. The other reviews for this place are really good so we may have come on an off night. Didn't even get fortune cookies!!

I have eaten here three times. It's always good, it's fresh, tasty, and good service. It's clean, and nicely decorated. I was mostly impressed with the quality of the food. I never get the same thing twice, and it's always a wonderful surprise. I will always go back, and I will take my friends there. It's moderately priced and it's air conditioned. No liquour license, so bring your own beer... they say it's OK.

Looooove this place! The food is always spot on and filling! Never seem to be able to finish any of the lunch plates. Service is always on point! I highly recommend the garlic chicken!

  • Christa B.

Dang, I hate to say it but yet again I wish I listened to the husband and went down the way from this place and just picked up a $10 pizza from Dominoes instead of shelling out $40 for two just okay entrees and some soup! But noooo, I wanted soup so because I'm spoiled and I get everything I want, we came here. The good: bathroom, parking, and fast service. The bad: it's expensive and everything costs extra. Extra for rice that didn't come with the shrimp and lobster sauce (wouldn't you expect it came with it? ) extra for crispy noodles that didn't come with the soup. The food wasn't bad. It just wasn't anything worth commenting on. Presentation wasn't even anything impressive. Save your money and go to Panda Express for fast, decent, cheap Chinese food.

  • Michael M.

I want to be very honest with my review. We ate here twice and on both occasion the food was not very good. It tasted all the same, something unique that I can't place it and I've had the "local" Chinese restaurant in other cities. Living close to this restaurant I've had the opportunity to walk to some of the other establishments in this shopping center. On one of these walks, I happened to observe or if the staff, I believe to be the cook, sitting outside by the back door as he manicured his feet still wearing his apron. Needless to say I have not eaten here in s while. On the suggestion of a friend, I did buy a large platter for a party and as before it tasted weird.

There's no such thing as too many Chinese restaurants in your neighborhood! My husband suggested Ewa Pointe one night and at first I was surprised because I wasn't aware that Ewa Beach had more than one Chinese restaurant. Taste of Hong Kong is closer to our home, so we usually frequent there. It's easy to see how Ewa Pointe can be overlooked. It's tucked away in a small strip mall between the residential area and a huge Self Storage place. The night we went it was very busy - in fact, of all the eating establishments at the strip mall, they were the only ones with a steady stream of customers that night! I'm not an adventurer when it comes to eating out, so I tend to stick to my usual orders - Gon Lo Mein, Beef Broccoli, Kung Pao Chicken, and Walnut Shrimp. The prices are comparable to other Chinese restaurants, but the quantity and quality of the food surpasses them and it's something to write home about. The location is clean and the staff are friendly and ready to take your order. Can't wait to visit soon!

The food was delicious! We came in as a party of 10 and ordered one of their set menus and we were very happy with the choices we got.

Service was excellent. Our waitress Ling is very friendly and attentive. She noticed a spot on my mom's plate that no one noticed and quickly took care of it. She took our dishes away as soon as they were cleared and packed pour food away neatly when we were finished. I recommend this restraint to anyone in the area, and keep a look out for Ling!

My parents love this place. We order take out from here at least once a month. My parents are sensitive to MSG and this place does not upset their stomach. We usually order won ton soup, house noodles, honey walnut shrimp, cold ginger chicken and beef bitter melon. I like their honey walnut shrimp. It's very tasty. The portion is on the small side but still worth getting. The noodles are good. There's a lot of meat and vegetables in the house noodles. The noodles alone can feed a family of six. The won ton soup is separated into two; soup and meat/vegetables. The soup will probably feed two people. The food is priced well. Most items are less than $10 each. I also noticed they have lunch and dinner specials for less than $10 as well. The specials seem like a great deal since you'd get a variety of food. Overall, I recommend this place if you live in the area and your looking for Authentic Chinese food. Go to Panda Express if your looking for Americanized Chinese food.

I wish there a way I was able to give this place no stars. We went in with a party of 10 and ordered various entree dishes. Our food did come out pretty quickly but it wasn't all that great. Very oily and some parts were hot and some cold, which gave me the indication that it was zapped in the microwave. Out came our shrimp canton, which much to our surprise contained an additional ingredient, not listed on the menu! A little cockroach cooked into the dough of our shrimp canton!! When it was brought to the attention of our server she tried to brush it off and bring us another dish. At that point we got up and walked out! Never again will I be returning to this establishment!! Do not eat here unless you don't mind finding bugs in your food!!

Found this place one afternoon when I was looking for a quick lunch. I ordered the salt and pepper shrimp and my girlfriend got some kind of noodles. The restaurant wasn't packed, seeing as there was only two more parties at the time so we figured food would come out pretty quickly. This was not really the case after waiting for what seemed like an eternity, the food eventually came. Once the food came, we began eating and I was a little disappointed in my shrimp. It tasted a bit bland and overall the meal wasn't too excited. We kind of just went through the motions, finished eating and left. Overall I left not really feeling any which way about the place and hence why I am giving it 3 stars.

Whenever we crave Chinese food, we come here. The place is clean and has a nice ambiance. The service we received tonight was awesome. They were super friendly and attentive, they looked happy...not typical for Chinese restaurants. Here's what we ordered: Garlic Shrimp scallop fried rice - smelled and tasted garlicky, just the way we like it! Roast duck - delicious, not a lot of fat, which is good Beef broccoli - very flavorful, meat tender, broccoli crunchy and fresh Squid and vegetable - squid cooked to perfection, not chewy. Loved the veggies - snow peas, carrots, bok choy, mushrooms, and broccoli Roast pork - I think they deep fried it, it was dry. I'm use to it being moist with a crunchy skin Spring rolls - a bit bland 4 out of 6 isn't bad, but what made me give it a 4 instead of 3 was the customer service. They can count on our business again.

Second time here, and the food was still was the same. It was very bland and didn't look appetizing, also service is not that good. The only way your gonna get me to eat here again is if somebody else is paying for it.

Ok I really don't like leaving bad reviews but I've eaten here maybe four or five times I really don't care for the foods. It's just doesn't have a good taste to it but maybe that's what real Chinese food taste like versus what most Americans are used to so maybe that's my bad. The service was very friendly and the place is very clean with plenty of settings

This place was delicious and staff was great. The portions are HUGE, so you really could do family style.

I ordered take out and spent over $60 for watered down flavorless sauce on all the food. The fried rice was nothing great and the kau yuk did not taste good - the flavor was off and it was fairly salty, although the buns were perfect. The chicken was rubbery and the shrimp was small and did not taste fresh. I will not be coming back here, still on the hunt for great Chinese food in this area.

If you are of a darker skin tone, maybe this isn't the place for you. The straw that broke my back is actually being burned at this restaurant. I assure you I am not exaggerating. We went- my husband and I- after church on a Sunday. We were frequent customers and ate there about 3-4 times per month. The food was OK and being that it was the only Chinese spot in Ewa Beach, we went there to get our Chinese fix. We are black- of "Afro-American" descent. There was always a questionable attitude towards us from the same waitress but we never took it personal. I honestly thought she was having a bad day every day and hence every time we showed up there either for takeout or dining in. Long story short, my husband ordered a sizzling hot plate of food and she comes out with a hot pan filled with oil... as soon as she uncovered it, she scooted back in order to avoid the hot grease spatter and left like we weren't dark enough. I got various 1st degree burns to my right arm and forearm mostly because as I scooted back away from the table, I was cornered by the wall and another table and grease spattered all over the table, our clothing, and skin. It was quite the spectacle as other customers were now staring at our table. I did not cause a scene because I never want to be another angry black chick with no sense. it took about 2 minutes before the grease stopped spatting. There was no manager, and the owner was not in but the same waitress was able to call the owner. As per the owner and out of her mouth, she said to "go to your insurance to claim your medical expenses- and you have to pay your bill, we are not accommodating you". We made a police report and I went to see my doctor for some treatment. This is customer service at its worst.

I'm not a picky eater, so it pains me greatly to write a negative review about a restaurant's food. However, if I find myself spending $19 and can only bring myself to take a few bites and then throw an entire container of food away, you can bet I will let others know. The chicken was rubbery and not spicy at all as indicated on the menu. It also had some grizzle which is never fun to chew. The spring rolls were very greasy and taste a bit fishy. On the positive side, the restaurant was very clean and had nice table settings. The woman who took my order was pleasant. My food was ready in ten minutes and was piping hot. The portion sizes are very large. Despite this, I won't be returning due to the poor quality and taste of the food.

The food is not fresh and very greasy!! In the back windows closest to the road you could see a bunch of dead Roaches of all different sizes!! Yuck!

I am so disappointed with the food. I was craving fried rice and what I got was bland, white rice! The garlic chicken didn't even have a hint of garlic. Totally overpriced and poor quality.

  • Cheyanne A.

There was hair in our food! We told our server & all she did was look at us funny & take the plate back to kitchen. Then she brought the same plate back to us, asking if we wanted to take it home! That's the most ridiculous thing anyone has asked me after I just told them I found hair in my food. I was so ashamed I brought my in-laws here for dinner. Never coming here again & I don't recommend anyone else to either.

We ordinarily get take-out. The service is fast and the food is good. Hot and Sour Soup, Crab Rangoons, and Mongolian Beef are great.

First time here. Staff is friendly and patient. Great first dinner. Food came out super fast and fresh. Generals chicken has a great flavor and the pork and pineapple fried rice was great. I didn't try it but my daughter had good reviews of the pork chow mein. Overall a great experience.

Had dinner with the family including friends from the church who were the ones that actually invited us. We were a few minutes late so everyone was waiting for us, but as soon as we got to the table and greeted everyone, our waitress took our drink orders, and the food started coming. Now I've not eaten in a Chinese restaurant in a while, so i forgot how much food comes out, boy was i overwhelmed but in a good way. All the food from top to bottom was very good, the Chinese chicken salad was a plus because I don't eat white rice, and the sesame chicken was delicious. Great portions, and the price was very reasonable. The waitress helping us was very attentive, and made sure our cups were full and we were enjoying our meal. I would definitely eat there again.

With my cold getting progressively worse I started craving soup. And not just any ol' chicken noodle soup. I wanted big, fat chunks of pork won tons. This restaurant may have just cured me back to health by hitting the spot with their delicious soup, hooked up with a LOT of plump won tons and bok choy. They're fast and pretty affordable (for Ewa, I guess) and really friendly. I definitely recommend going to this place to fix your health woes or to cure a craving for Chinese.

Had lunch here for the first time today for a family gathering with visitors from out of state. My group was there when I arrived and they had wanted some hot tea, however the pot that was provided had only hot water (guess they forgot the tea). Flagged the waitress down and asked for a new pot. She wasn't really friendly at first but warmed up when we finally decided on our order. Decided on the party menu for 10 (several choices with different price points). Menu we selected consisted of the following: Hot and Sour Soup Spring Rolls Shrimp with Salted Pepper Fish Fillet with Broccoli Sweet and Sour Pork Tender Pepper Steak Crispy Gau Gee Mein Steamed White Rice All the dishes were flavorable and not salty and servings consisted of large portions (could barely all fit on the rotating stand). The spring rolls, shrimp with salted pepper, the fish fillet with broccoli and gau gee (yes these babies were big but cooked perfectly) were a total hit! The sweet and sour pork had just enough fat and cooked just right as so not to be tough and hard and pepper steak were excellent. Overall, for the price, service and food, you can't beat it. Another plus is that you can bring in your own drinks (beer). We spied serveral tables that had paperbags with drinks and so my brother decided on going to the little store next door to get a few bottles to go with lunch and they were okay with that. FYI - For the party menu tax and a 15% gratuity is added. I think I've finally found a chinese restaurant in the west end that I can frequent!

  • Danielle A.

Excellent food at a great price. The service is always friendly and fast. The servers are always so kind to my kids, bringing smaller utensils and plastic tableware so there are no accidents. We always order too much food because the portions are huge and our eyes are bigger then out stomachs but we don't mind because since it's always so fresh it makes for great left overs. This is always a hit with our family!

  • Ram K.

Walk-in take out order. Char siu w/ oyster chicken on rice. Not bad wait considering another person ahead of us. I think this place does more take out orders than dine in. Overall good food and service. Best Chinese food in Ewa Beach.

  • Michael E.

Mongolian Beef is not very spicy like I think it should be, but maybe you can request it to be hotter! Everything was still good though! The honey walnut shrimp is absolutely the best I've had, usually the first thing that is eaten. Everything else I've tried is great as well, all is served family style if you eat there.

I had lunch with my friends, and we ordered wonton soup, orange chicken, clams with black bean sauce, and carsiu fried rice the portions were huge and the taste were amazing and compared to all the other Chinese restaurants this has to be one of the cleanest. I would definitely recommend this place if you love Chinese food :)

Had dinner here for the second time last night. Both times, the waitresses were extremely friendly and attentive. Also, all of the dishes we've had thus far, has been absolutely wonderful. Below are the 5 dishes my bf and I had last night, which were all excellent with large portions: Seafood soup with tofu (so delish) Clam with black bean sauce (drooling) Garlic seafood fried rice Sizzling steak Beef chow funn All for a total of $53! Love the food, service, and price!!!!

Let's start off with the fact that I am mostly a vegetarian. I say this because the meat that I eat is usually only the meat that I cook at home (I prefer meat that wasn't pumped with steroids)... What is with the restaurants in Ewa Beach? This Chinese restaurant is the not only the worst Chinese food I've ever eaten, but the worst FOOD I've ever eaten. So bad that I couldn't bare to eat more than 4 or 5 mouthfuls any of the times I've ordered from them. Lo Mein noodles are drenched in a "sauce" of salt and cornstarch. Mixed Vegetables are a majority of roots and leaves- maybe one or two pieces of carrots and snowpeas- also drenched in this mysterious "sauce" that burns my throat. What a disappointment! I'm not one to judge a restaurant on one meal or one time, but after eating from this restaurant on 3 separate occasions, I am baffled as to how ANYONE can enjoy the food here. Perhaps my taste buds crave fresh vegetables, herbs, and seasonings and not MSG, salt, fat, fillers, etc. If yours does too, then don't waste your time or money at this place.

This isnt panda express THANK GOD. I enjoy my meals here and i have for the last 5 years living with in walking distance. I prefer to dine in when there isnt a crowd, the food seems to taste better and the service is good. The staff is friendly which is a change from your normal chinese restaurant. I eat different things everytime i go so i dont have a fav dish... try something different than your normal sweet sour spare ribs, and beef brocolli...

  • Rhonda B.

Delicious. Had the spicy hot wings. They weren't so spicy though. Little tip though..ask and they will spice it up. The batter they used for these wings was reminiscent of beer battered fish. It was terrific and the garlic on the wing, a nice contrast because it was sweet tasting. Definitely going back again! Cat believe I waited three years to eat here.

We live less than a mile away from the Ewa Pointe Chinese Restaurant. We usually order take-out. The man that answers the phone is always nice, but now they have a new lady that doesn't speak as well as the man. The food is delicious. Order the candy walnut shrimp, beef broccoli (or any other topping) on cake noodes, and their minute chicken. Those dishes are really tasty. We ate inside the restaurant once and I accidentally spilled a cup of water and I thought the Chinese waitress was going to do some kung fu on me. She was upset and mumbled (in Chinese) while she was cleaning up the ice water from the table. She even blamed my baby daughter until I gave her dirty looks. The food here is so much better than the chinese restaurant near Foodland.

I'm really undecided about this restaurant. I want to love it because we live so close to it, but I think the food is just alright. It's always hot and fresh which is a plus, but the last time we went the orange chicken was slimy. The quality of the chicken was also not as good as the first time we went. Big minuses. The hot tea they give you for dining in is delicious. The restaurant is really clean. The servers are really friendly and fast. All pluses. We haven't been to this restaurant enough for me to be totally sure about my star rating. Right now I would say it is a three but could easily drop if we go back and don't get better food. It could also go up if the food is amazing next time we go. Right now it's just ok though.

I just moved to ocean point. this is the first time I tried this Chinese restaurant. I ordered crab Rangoon, honey walnut shrimp, house cake noodle, and Mongolian beef. Since the abrupt removal of my Kitchen (long story short I am moving) I decided to bench out to explore a little more local (Ewa) cuisine. I was craving fries rice and sweet and sour pork in which i stumbled onto this place. The fried rice was good, as was the pork but I have to say it was not the best I have had. A step up from panda most certainly, probably the best in Ewa... I would not doubt it, but like I said far from the best I have had. The place was clean, the food was fresh and that in my book is more than half the battle. I really hope to find better chinese out here cause San Francisco and New York are too far away to enjoy on a whim, but as long as I stay Ewa side I will be eating here.

I feel like all chinese is pretty much the same no matter where you go. I will say that the orange chicken I ordered from this place was great! My husband and son couldn't get enough. The staff was nice, the place was clean and they packed up our order for take out nicely. I will be back again when in a jam for a quick dinner

Since moving up to Mililani, this is the place my husband misses the most. We first went here on Christmas day for dinner. Neither of us felt like cooking and after calling around, we found out they were open. Score! We arrived to find Christmas carols playing, a very happy staff, and a surprising number of people eating in and getting food to go. Our server was super friendly, and my husband's General Cho's chicken was some of the best he's had on island (according to him.) The servings are huge- we had leftovers for two days- and the food decent enough that you keep eating long after you are full. (I really enjoyed the Orange chicken, and the soups are always delicious.) After a wonderful Christmas dinner, we returned several times before we moved, and each time found the staff just as happy and attentive and the food just as good. Parking is plentiful, and there is a liquor store a couple of doors down that has an impressive beer selection if you want to grab something for home. On a Friday and Saturday night, you can expect to wait 15-20 minutes if you order to go- which is to be expected. We called in our order a few times- it saved us the wait, and it was great for our food to be ready when we got there. Whenever we are down on the Leeward side around dinner time, that's the first place we will go. Definitely a place to try if you haven't already.

This is probably one of the top places to eat in Ewa. Per Joshua's suggestion I ordered the hot and sour soup and shrimp in lobster sauce, as well as the spicy egg plant and Mongolian beef (per the workers suggestion). The hot and sour soup was one of the better ones I've had and I will definitely order it again. Despite the price, the best dish by far was the shrimp in lobster sauce. Didn't get it with fried rice, but maybe I should have as I got the regular dish as it was like a soup, but it was really good. The egg plant was alright as was the Mongolian beef, but don't think I'd order it again. Being that there are slim pickings in Ewa, I'd definitely be back to try the other dishes.

HOLY HELL! This place gives you a lot of food. It was just me and it was my first time there so I had no idea. I ordered the hot and sour soup, shrimp in lobster sauce with fried rice. It all got to my table within 5 minutes. A vat of soup, a platter of rice and a giant plate of shrimp. Even the spoons were big. The tea cup was small though. Anyway, the hot and sour soup was the best I have ever had. Period. Fried rice with pineapple was great. The shrimp in lobster sauce was excellent. Been here almost a year and never went by until today. A mistake on my part. The owners/waiters were super friendly and made jokes about how much food I ordered. Hey I didn't know. $30 and I got leftover for two days. If you live in Ewa and haven't been there yet you are cheating yourself out of some great food.

I've given this place a few tries since it's down the street from where I live, but I'm never that satisfied. One nice thing about the place is the staff. They are extremely pleasant and very professional, but the food never seems to do it for me. Tonight we got a few items, hoping that at least one would be the "wow" factor, but to no avail, the food was merely okay. The food certainly isn't terrible, but it's fine and in need of something more. The Sezuan chicken was okay, but I found it a little under-seasoned and bland. Also, the char-siu chow mein needed some spice and "life.". In all, there's not much to complain about the convenience of being able to walk and get some inexpensive food, but there are better places out there. You won't be disappointed by the staff, cleanliness, prices, or portions, but if you're looking to stimulate your taste buds, this might not be the best restaurant to do so.

Is it just me? Or the service is getting a bit crapper. My cake noodles are always served to me hard as rock and cold. It tastes stale, like it's been sitting out the whole day--which is disgusting and not sanitary at all. BOO I wanted to love you but you treat me that way....I'll go give my loving to someone else Ewa Pointe Chinese Resturant.

Full house tonight (Saturday, 7pm). Always clean and super fast service. Get your food in less than 10 minutes. Servers are friendly. Plays easy listening music over the speakers. I think it's BYOB. Salty pork chop, Fish with black bean, & cake noodle are all good choices. My whole family LOVES the seaweed soup. It has fish and pork in it, as well as, bok choy, tofu, & seaweed. Sooooo onolicious!

Yikes!! Had hair in our food, and the waiter grabs it out of the food. He then snaps it and says "this not hair, hair no break.". Pull a hair out of your head and see if it breaks. Food wasn't good either.

  • Kalena J.

Worst food. House special chow mein was bland, seem like they just threw a bunch of leftover meats on top of bland noodles, eggrolls were greasy and mostly cabbage, beef and broccoli nothing special, and wonton soup was pretty much just gaugee in soup. To sum it up---GREASY.....

  • Victoria W.

Looooove this place! The food is always spot on and filling! Never seem to be able to finish any of the lunch plates. Service is always on point! I highly recommend the garlic chicken!

I am so disappointed with the food. I was craving fried rice and what I got was bland, white rice! The garlic chicken didn't even have a hint of garlic. Totally overpriced and poor quality.

Yuck!

Excellent won ton soup, best I've ever had. I don't normally get to-go boxes, but this place gives you an excessive amount of food! Definitely be hungry when you go. It's not cheap Chinese food either, the food is high quality and really good. Strongly reccomend this place!

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
